After 3 months of work on your strategic marketing roadmap, the group of student-consultants will submit:

  1. 5,000-word consulting report 
  2. Optional in-person presentation

Project Examples

Are you in need of a strategic marketing plan? Student consultants will work with a local industry partner to identify and define a significant strategic marketing problem or opportunity unique to each participating organization. The student teams will carry out extensive research to prepare analysis and recommendations for how the client should proceed. 

Potential scopes for this project can include but are not limited to; 

  • promoting a new product/service launch,
  • increasing revenue for an existing product/service,
  • increasing market share,
  • customer acquisition/retention,
  • increasing brand awareness, and
  • meeting the needs of a specific customer segment, etc.
Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Be available for a 1-hour interview (virtual, phone, or in person) in order to make sure the students fully understand your organization, industry and needs

Provide any relevant background information and/or data relevant to the project scope that will ensure success.

Be responsive to periodic emails to answer any questions or concerns that the student(s) may have as they progress
